11This directory contains the source code for U-Boot, a boot loader for

17The development of U-Boot is closely related to Linux: some parts of
18the source code originate in the Linux source tree, we have some
19header files in common, and special provision has been made to
20support booting of Linux images.

23configurable and extendable. For instance, all monitor commands are
24implemented with the same call interface, so that it's very easy to
25add new commands. Also, instead of permanently adding rarely used
26code (for instance hardware test utilities) to the monitor, you can

4834at all, we have to allocate at least a minimal stack. Implementation
