hw/char: Extract serial-mm
hw/char/serial currently contains the implementation of both TYPE_SERIAL and TYPE_SERIAL_MM. According to serial_class_init(), TYPE_SERIAL is an internal class while TYPE_SERIAL_MM is used by numerous machine types directly. Let's move the latter into its own module which makes the dependencies more obvious and the code more tidy.
The includes and the dependencies have been converted mechanically except in the hw/char directories which were updated manually. The result was compile-tested. Now, only hw/char makes direct use of TYPE_SERIAL:
# grep -r -e "select SERIAL" | grep -v SERIAL_ hw/char/Kconfig: select SERIAL hw/char/Kconfig: select SERIAL hw/char/Kconfig: select SERIAL hw/char/Kconfig: select SERIAL hw/char/Kconfig: select SERIAL

reset: Use ResetType for qemu_devices_reset() and MachineClass::reset()
Currently, both qemu_devices_reset() and MachineClass::reset() use ShutdownCause for the reason of the reset. However, the Resettable interface uses ResetState, so ShutdownCause needs to be translated to ResetType somewhere. Translating it qemu_devices_reset() makes adding new reset types harder, as they cannot always be matched to a single ShutdownCause here, and devices may need to check the ResetType to determine what to reset and if to reset at all.
This patch moves this translation up in the call stack to qemu_system_reset() and updates all MachineClass children to use the ResetType instead.

hw/hppa/machine: Replace g_memdup() by g_memdup2()
Per https://discourse.gnome.org/t/port-your-module-from-g-memdup-to-g-memdup2-now/5538
The old API took the size of the memory to duplicate as a guint, whereas most memory functions take memory sizes as a gsize. This made it easy to accidentally pass a gsize to g_memdup(). For large values, that would lead to a silent truncation of the size from 64 to 32 bits, and result in a heap area being returned which is significantly smaller than what the caller expects. This can likely be exploited in various modules to cause a heap buffer overflow.
Replace g_memdup() by the safer g_memdup2() wrapper.
Trivially safe because the argument was directly from sizeof.

hw/hppa: do not require CONFIG_USB
With --without-default-devices it is possible to build a binary that does not include any USB host controller and therefore that does not include the code guarded by CONFIG_USB. While the simpler creation functions such as usb_create_simple can be inlined, this is not true of usb_bus_find(). Remove it, replacing it with a search of the single USB bus on the machine.

target/hppa: Enhancements and fixes
Some enhancements and fixes for the hppa target.
The major change is, that this patchset adds a new SeaBIOS-hppa firmware which is built as 32- and 64-bit firmware. The new 64-bit firmware is necessary to fully support 64-bit operating systems (HP-UX, Linux, NetBSD,...).

Load the 64-bit SeaBIOS-hppa firmware by default when running on a 64-bit machine. This will enable us to later support more than 4GB of RAM and is required that the OS (or PALO bootloader) will start or install a 64-bit kernel instead of a 32-bit kernel.
Note that SeaBIOS-hppa v16 provides the "-fw_cfg opt/OS64,string=3" option with which the user can control what the firmware shall report back to the OS: Support of 32-bit OS, support of a 64-bit OS, or support for both (default).

hw/net/lasi_i82596: use qemu_create_nic_device()
Create the device only if there is a corresponding NIC config for it. Remove the explicit check on nd_table[0].used from hw/hppa/machine.c which (since commit d8a3220005d7) tries to do the same thing.
The lasi_82596 support has been disabled since it was first introduced, since enable_lasi_lan() has always been zero. This allows the user to enable it by explicitly requesting a NIC model 'lasi_82596' or just using the alias 'lasi'. Otherwise, it defaults to a PCI NIC as before.

hw/hppa: Move software power button address back into PDC
The various operating systems (e.g. Linux, NetBSD) have issues mapping the power button when it's stored in page zero. NetBSD even crashes, because it fails to map that page and then accesses unmapped memory.
Since we now have a consistent memory mapping of PDC in 32-bit and 64-bit address space (the lower 32-bits of the address are in sync) the power button can be moved back to PDC space.
This patch fixes the power button on Linux, NetBSD and HP-UX.

hw/hppa/machine: Allow up to 3840 MB total memory
The physical hardware allows DIMMs of 4 MB size and above, allowing up to 3840 MB of memory, but is restricted by setup code to 3 GB. Increase the limit to allow up to the maximum amount of memory.
Btw. the memory area from 0xf000.0000 to 0xffff.ffff is reserved by the architecture for firmware and I/O memory and can not be used for standard memory.
An upcoming 64-bit SeaBIOS-hppa firmware will allow more than 3.75GB on 64-bit HPPA64. In this case the ram_max for the pa20 case will change.

target/hppa qemu v8.2 regression fixes
There were some regressions introduced with Qemu v8.2 on the hppa/hppa64 target, e.g.:
- 32-bit HP-UX crashes on B160L (32-bit) machine - NetBSD boot failure due to power button in page zero - NetBSD FPU detection failure - OpenBSD 7.4 boot failure
This patch series fixes those known regressions and additionally:
- allows usage of the max. 3840MB of memory (instead of 3GB), - adds support for the qemu --nodefaults option (to debug other devices)
This patch set will not fix those known (non-regression) bugs: - HP-UX and NetBSD still fail to boot on the new 64-bit C3700 machine - Linux kernel will still fail to boot on C3700 as long as kernel modules are used.
Changes v2->v3: - Added comment about Figures H-10 and H-11 in the parisc2.0 spec in patch which calculate PDC address translation if PSW.W=0 - Introduce and use hppa_set_ior_and_isr() - Use drive_get_max_bus(IF_SCSI), nd_table[] and serial_hd() to check if default devices should be created - Added Tested-by and Reviewed-by tags
Changes v1->v2: - fix OpenBSD boot with SeaBIOS v15 instead of v14 - commit message enhancements suggested by BALATON Zoltan - use uint64_t for ram_max in patch #1
