and another that fixes a race condition that could result in
false-positive failures of the boot-time self-test code

- RCU-scalability performance-test updates, most notably adding the
ability to measure the RCU-Tasks's grace-period kthread's CPU
consumption. This proved quite useful for the RCU Tasks work

- Reference-acquisition/release performance-test updates, including a
fix for an uninitialized wait_queue_head_t

- Miscellaneous torture-test updates

- Torture-test scripting updates, including removal of the
non-longer-functional formal-verification scripts, test builds of
individual RCU Tasks flavors, better diagnostics for loss of
connectivity for distributed rcutorture tests, disabling of reboot

parameters to rcutorture's init program

Currently, the various torture tests sometimes react to an early-boot
bug by rebooting. This is almost always counterproductive, needlessly
consuming CPU time and bloating the console log. This commit therefore
adds the "-no-reboot" argument to qemu so that reboot requests will
cause qemu to exit.

Currently, the kernel boot parameters specified by the kvm.sh --bootargs
parameter are placed near the beginning of the -append list that is
passed to qemu. This means that in the not-uncommon case of a kernel
boot parameter where the last argument wins, the --bootargs list overrides
neither the list in the .boot file nor the additional parameters supplied
by the rcutorture scripting.

This commit therefore places the kernel boot parameters specified by
the kvm.sh --bootargs parameter at the end of qemu's -append list.

- Documentation updates. This is the second in a series from an ongoing
review of the RCU documentation.

- Miscellaneous fixes.

- Introduce a default-off Kconfig option that depends on RCU_NOCB_CPU
that, on CPUs mentioned in the nohz_full or rcu_nocbs boot-argument
CPU lists, causes call_rcu() to introduce delays.

These delays result in significant power savings on nearly idle
Android and ChromeOS systems. These savings range from a few percent
to more than ten percent.

This series also includes several commits that change call_rcu() to a
new call_rcu_hurry() function that avoids these delays in a few
cases, for example, where timely wakeups are required. Several of
these are outside of RCU and thus have acks and reviews from the
relevant maintainers.

- Create an srcu_read_lock_nmisafe() and an srcu_read_unlock_nmisafe()
for architectures that support NMIs, but which do not provide
NMI-safe this_cpu_inc(). These NMI-safe SRCU functions are required
by the upcoming lockless printk() work by John Ogness et al.

- Changes providing minor but important increases in torture test
coverage for the new RCU polled-grace-period APIs.

- Changes to torturescript that avoid redundant kernel builds, thus
providing about a 30% speedup for the torture.sh acceptance test.
