drm/v3d: Assign job pointer to NULL before signaling the fence
commit 6e64d6b3a3c39655de56682ec83e894978d23412 upstream.
In commit e4b5ccd392b9 ("drm/v3d: Ensure job pointer is set to NULL after job completion"), we introduced a change to assign the job pointer to NULL after completing a job, indicating job completion.
However, this approach created a race condition between the DRM scheduler workqueue and the IRQ execution thread. As soon as the fence is signaled in the IRQ execution thread, a new job starts to be executed. This results in a race condition where the IRQ execution thread sets the job pointer to NULL simultaneously as the `run_job()` function assigns a new job to the pointer.
This race condition can lead to a NULL pointer dereference if the IRQ execution thread sets the job pointer to NULL after `run_job()` assigns it to the new job. When the new job completes and the GPU emits an interrupt, `v3d_irq()` is triggered, potentially causing a crash.

Fix the crash by assigning the job pointer to NULL before signaling the fence. This ensures that the job pointer is cleared before any new job starts execution, preventing the race condition and the NULL pointer dereference crash.

[ Upstream commit e4b5ccd392b92300a2b341705cc4805681094e49 ]
After a job completes, the corresponding pointer in the device must be set to NULL. Failing to do so triggers a warning when unloading the driver, as it appears the job is still active. To prevent this, assign the job pointer to NULL after completing the job, indicating the job has finished.

ALSA/ASoC/SOF/SoundWire: fix Kconfig issues
In January, Intel kbuild bot and Arnd Bergmann reported multiple issues with randconfig. This patchset builds on Arnd's suggestions to
a) expose ACPI and PCI devices in separate modules, while sof-acpi-dev and sof-pci-dev become helpers. This will result in minor changes required for developers/testers, i.e. modprobe snd-sof-pci will no longer result in a probe. The SOF CI was already updated to deal with this module dependency change and introduction of new modules.
b) Fix SOF/SoundWire/DSP_config dependencies by moving the code required to detect SoundWire presence in ACPI tables to sound/hda.

drm/v3d: Don't clear MMU control bits on exception
MMU exception conditions are reported in the V3D_MMU_CTRL register as write-1-to-clear (W1C) bits. The MMU interrupt handling code clears any exceptions, but does so by masking out any other bits and writing the result back. There are some important control bits in that register, including MMU_ENABLE, so a safer approach is to simply write back the value just read unaltered.

Merge tag 'drm-next-2020-08-06' of git://anongit.freedesktop.org/drm/drm
Pull drm updates from Dave Airlie: "New xilinx displayport driver, AMD support for two new GPUs (more header files), i915 initial support for RocketLake and some work on their DG1 (discrete chip).
The core also grew some lockdep annotations to try and constrain what drivers do with dma-fences, and added some documentation on why the idea of indefinite fences doesn't work.
The long list is below.
I do have some fixes trees outstanding, but I'll follow up with those later.
core: - add user def flag to cmd line modes - dma_fence_wait added might_sleep - dma-fence lockdep annotations - indefinite fences are bad documentation - gem CMA functions used in more drivers - struct mutex removal - more drm_ debug macro usage - set/drop master api fixes - fix for drm/mm hole size comparison - drm/mm remove invalid entry optimization - optimise drm/mm hole handling - VRR debugfs added - uncompressed AFBC modifier support - multiple display id blocks in EDID - multiple driver sg handling fixes - __drm_atomic_helper_crtc_reset in all drivers - managed vram helpers
