tools: Rename __fallthrough to fallthrough
Rename the fallthrough attribute to better align with the kernel version. Copy the definition from include/linux/compiler_attributes.h including the #else clause. Adding the #else clause allows the tools compiler.h header to drop the check for a definition entirely and keeps both definitions together.
Change any __fallthrough statements to fallthrough anywhere it was used within perf.
This allows other tools to use the same key word as the kernel.
Committer notes:
Did some missing conversions to:
builtin-list.c
Also included gtk.h before the 'fallthrough' definition in:
tools/perf/ui/gtk/hists.c tools/perf/ui/gtk/helpline.c tools/perf/ui/gtk/browser.c
As it is the arg name for a macro in glib.h:
/var/home/acme/git/perf-tools-next/tools/include/linux/compiler-gcc.h:16:55: error: missing binary operator before token "(" 16 | # define fallthrough __attribute__((__fallthrough__)) | ^ /usr/include/glib-2.0/glib/gmacros.h:637:28: note: in expansion of macro ‘fallthrough’ 637 | #if g_macro__has_attribute(fallthrough)

As of Intel SDM (https://www.intel.com/sdm) version 076, there is a new Intel PT feature called Event Trace which requires 2 new packets CFE and EVD. Add them to the packet decoder and packet decoder test.
Committer notes:
I got the "Intel® 64 and IA-32 architectures software developer’s manual combined volumes: 1, 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, and 4" PDF at:
https://cdrdv2.intel.com/v1/dl/getContent/671200
And these new packets are described in page 3951:
<quote> 32.2.4
Event Trace is a capability that exposes details about the asynchronous events, when they are generated, and when their corresponding software event handler completes execution. These include:
o Interrupts, including NMI and SMI, including the interrupt vector when defined.
o Faults, exceptions including the fault vector.
— Page faults additionally include the page fault address, when in context.
o Event handler returns, including IRET and RSM.
o VM exits and VM entries.¹
— VM exits include the values written to the “exit reason” and “exit qualification” VMCS fields. INIT and SIPI events.
o TSX aborts, including the abort status returned for the RTM instructions.
o Shutdown.
Additionally, it provides indication of the status of the Interrupt Flag (IF), to indicate when interrupts are masked. </quote>

perf intel-pt: Add new packets for PEBS via PT
Add 3 new packets to supports PEBS via PT, namely Block Begin Packet (BBP), Block Item Packet (BIP) and Block End Packet (BEP). PEBS data is encoded into multiple BIP packets that come between BBP and BEP. The BEP packet might be associated with a FUP packet. That is indicated by using a separate packet type (INTEL_PT_BEP_IP) similar to other packets types with the _IP suffix.
Refer to the Intel SDM for more information about PEBS via PT:
https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-sdm May 2019 version: Vol. 3B 18.5.5.2 PEBS output to Intel® Processor Trace
Decoding of BIP packets conflicts with single-byte TNT packets. Since BIP packets only occur in the context of a block (i.e. between BBP and BEP), that context must be recorded and passed to the packet decoder.

perf intel-pt: Fix ip compression
The June 2015 Intel SDM introduced IP Compression types 4 and 6. Refer to section 36.4.2.2 Target IP (TIP) Packet - IP Compression.
Existing Intel PT packet decoder did not support type 4, and got type 6 wrong. Because type 3 and type 4 have the same number of bytes, the packet 'count' has been changed from being the number of ip bytes to being the type code. That allows the Intel PT decoder to correctly decide whether to sign-extend or use the last ip. However that also meant the code had to be adjusted in a number of places.
Currently hardware is not using the new compression types, so this fix has no effect on existing hardware.

perf tools: Add new Intel PT packet definitions
New features have been added to Intel PT which include a number of new packet definitions.
This patch adds packet definitions for new packets: TMA, MTC, CYC, VMCS, TRACESTOP and MNT. Also another bit in PIP is defined.
This patch only adds support for the definitions. Later patches add support for decoding TMA, MTC, CYC and TRACESTOP which is where those packets are explained.
VMCS and the newly defined bit in PIP are used with virtualization which is not supported yet. MNT is a maintenance packet which the decoder should ignore.
For details, refer to the June 2015 or later Intel 64 and IA-32 Architectures SDM Chapter 36 Intel Processor Trace.

perf intel-pt: Add new packets for PEBS via PT Add 3 new packets to supports PEBS via PT, namely Block Begin Packet (BBP), Block Item Packet (BIP) and Block End Packet (BEP). PEBS data is encoded into multiple BIP packets that come between BBP and BEP. The BEP packet might be associated with a FUP packet. That is indicated by using a separate packet type (INTEL_PT_BEP_IP) similar to other packets types with the _IP suffix. Refer to the Intel SDM for more information about PEBS via PT: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-sdm May 2019 version: Vol. 3B 18.5.5.2 PEBS output to Intel® Processor Trace Decoding of BIP packets conflicts with single-byte TNT packets. Since BIP packets only occur in the context of a block (i.e. between BBP and BEP), that context must be recorded and passed to the packet decoder. That allows the Intel PT decoder to correctly decide whether to sign-extend or use the last ip. However that also meant the code had to be adjusted in a number of places. Currently hardware is not using the new compression types, so this fix has no effect on existing hardware. perf tools: Add new Intel PT packet definitions New features have been added to Intel PT which include a number of new packet definitions.
