perf metric: JSON flag to not group events if gathering a metric group

Some metric groups have metrics that don't have fully overlapping
events, meaning that the group's events become unique event groups that
may need to multiplex with each other. This can be particularly
unfortunate when the groups wouldn't need to multiplex because there are
sufficient hardware counters.

Add a flag so that if recording a metric group then the metrics within
the group needn't use groups for their events. The flag is added to
Intel TopdownL1 and TopdownL2 metrics.

perf vendor events intel: Refresh cascadelakex events

Update the cascadelakex events from 1.16 to 1.17. Generation was done
using https://github.com/intel/perfmon.

Notable changes are new events and event descriptions, TMA metrics are
updated to version 4.5, TMA info metrics are renamed from their node
name to be lower case and prefixed by tma_info_, MetricThreshold
expressions are added, "Sample with" documentation is added to many
TMA metrics, smi_cost and transaction metric groups are added
replicating existing hard coded metrics in stat-shadow.

perf vendor events intel: Refresh cascadelakex metrics and events

Update the cascadelakex metrics and events using the new tooling from:

https://github.com/intel/perfmon

The metrics are unchanged but the formulas differ due to parentheses,
use of exponents and removal of redundant operations like "* 1". The
order of metrics varies as TMA metrics are first converted and then
removed if perfmon versions are found. The events are updated with
fixes to uncore events and improved descriptions. The formatting
changes increase consistency across the json files.

with updates at:

Updates include:
- Removal of ScaleUnit from uncore events by Zhengjun Xing
<zhengjun.xing@linux.intel.com>.
- Rename of topdown TMA metrics from Frontend_Bound to tma_frontend_bound.
- _SMT suffix metrics are dropped as the #SMT_On and #EBS_Mode are
correctly expanded in the single main metric.
- Addition of all 6 levels of TMA metrics. Child metrics are placed
in a group named after their parent allowing children of a metric
to be easily measured using the metric name with a _group suffix.
- ## and ##? operators are correctly expanded.
- The locate-with column is added to the long description describing
a sampling event.
- Metrics are written in terms of other metrics to reduce the
expression size and increase readability.
- Latest metrics from: https://github.com/intel/perfmon-metrics

perf vendor events: Fix DRAM_BW_Use 0 issue for CLX/SKX

Ian reports an issue that the metric DRAM_BW_Use often remains 0.

The metric expression for DRAM_BW_Use on CLX/SKX:

"( 64 * ( uncore_imc@cas_count_read@ + uncore_imc@cas_count_write@ ) / 1000000000 ) / duration_time"

The counts of uncore_imc/cas_count_read/ and uncore_imc/cas_count_write/
are scaled up by 64, that is to turn a count of cache lines into bytes,
the count is then divided by 1000000000 to give GB.

However, the counts of uncore_imc/cas_count_read/ and
uncore_imc/cas_count_write/ have been scaled yet.

The scale values are from sysfs, such as
/sys/devices/uncore_imc_0/events/cas_count_read.scale.
It's 6.103515625e-5 (64 / 1024.0 / 1024.0).

So if we use original metric expression, the result is not correct.

But the difficulty is, for SKL client, the counts are not scaled.

The metric expression for DRAM_BW_Use on SKL:

"64 * ( arb@event\\=0x81\\,umask\\=0x1@ + arb@event\\=0x84\\,umask\\=0x1@ ) / 1000000 / duration_time / 1000"

root@kbl-ppc:~# perf stat -M DRAM_BW_Use -a -- sleep 1

Performance counter stats for 'system wide':

190 arb/event=0x84,umask=0x1/ # 1.86 DRAM_BW_Use
29,093,178 arb/event=0x81,umask=0x1/
1,000,703,287 ns duration_time

1.000703287 seconds time elapsed

The result is expected.

So the easy way is just change the metric expression for CLX/SKX.
This patch changes the metric expression to:

"( ( ( uncore_imc@cas_count_read@ + uncore_imc@cas_count_write@ ) * 1048576 ) / 1000000000 ) / duration_time"

1048576 = 1024 * 1024.

Before (tested on CLX):

root@lkp-csl-2sp5 ~# perf stat -M DRAM_BW_Use -a -- sleep 1

Performance counter stats for 'system wide':

765.35 MiB uncore_imc/cas_count_read/ # 0.00 DRAM_BW_Use
5.42 MiB uncore_imc/cas_count_write/
1001515088 ns duration_time

After:

root@lkp-csl-2sp5 ~# perf stat -M DRAM_BW_Use -a -- sleep 1

Performance counter stats for 'system wide':

767.95 MiB uncore_imc/cas_count_read/ # 0.80 DRAM_BW_Use
5.02 MiB uncore_imc/cas_count_write/
1001900010 ns duration_time

The kernel utilization metric does multiplexing currently and is somewhat
unreliable. The problem is that it uses two instances of the fixed counter,
and the kernel has to multipleplex which causes errors. So should use
CPU_CLK_UNHALTED.THREAD instead.

perf vendor events intel: Update metrics from TMAM 3.5

for Intel big core from Sandy Bridge to Cascade Lake.

This has many improvements and new metircs

- New TopDownL1_SMT group that provides a per SMT thread version
of --topdown that does not require -a anymore. The drawback is
increased multiplexing though since L1 TopDown does not fit into
4 generic counters anymore.

- Added SMT aware versions of other metrics

- Split SMT aware metrics into separate metrics to avoid
unnecessary event collections

- New metrics for better branch analysis:
Estimated Branch_Mispredict_Costs, Instructions per taken Branch,
Branch Instructions per Taken Branch, etc.

- Instruction mix metrics:
Instructions per load, Instructions per store, Instructions per Branch,
Instructions per Call

- New Cache metrics:
Bandwidth to L1/L2/L3 caches. L1/L2/L3 misses per kilo instructions.
memory level parallelism

- New memory controller metrics:
Normalized memory bandwidth in interval mode, Average memory latency,
Average number of parallel read requests,

- 3DXP persistent memory metrics for Cascade Lake:
3dxp read latency, 3dxp read/write bandwidth

- Some other useful metrics like Instruction Level Parallelism,

- Various other improvements.

Not all metrics are available on all CPUs. Skylake has best coverage.

The metric expression for DRAM_BW_Use on CLX/SKX:

perf vendor events: Fix DRAM_BW_Use 0 issue for CLX/SKX

1048576 = 1024 * 1024.

Before (tested on CLX):

root@lkp-csl-2sp5 ~# perf stat -M DRAM_BW_Use -a -- sleep 1

Performance counter stats for 'system wide':

765.35 MiB uncore_imc/cas_count_read/ # 0.00 DRAM_BW_Use
5.42 MiB uncore_imc/cas_count_write/
1001515088 ns duration_time

1.001515088 seconds time elapsed

After:

root@lkp-csl-2sp5 ~# perf stat -M DRAM_BW_Use -a -- sleep 1

Performance counter stats for 'system wide':

767.95 MiB uncore_imc/cas_count_read/ # 0.80 DRAM_BW_Use
5.02 MiB uncore_imc/cas_count_write/
1001900010 ns duration_time

1.001900010 seconds time elapsed
