thermal/drivers/acerhdf: Remove pointless governor test

The thermal zone parameter specifies the bang-bang governor.

The Kconfig selects the bang-bang governor. So it is pointless to test
if the governor was set for the thermal zone assuming it may not have
been compiled-in.

Remove the test and prevent another access into the thermal internals.

thermal/drivers/acerhdf: Make interval setting only at module load time

The thermal zone device structure is in the process of being private
to the thermal framework core code. This driver is directly accessing
and changing the monitoring polling rate.

After discussing with the maintainers of this driver, having the
polling interval at module loading time is enough for their purpose.

Change the code to take into account the interval when the module is
loaded but restrict the permissions so the value can not be changed
afterwards.

platform/x86/drivers/acerhdf: Check the interval value when it is set

Currently the code checks the interval value when the temperature is
read which is bad for two reasons:

- checking and setting the interval in the get_temp callback is
inaccurate and awful, that can be done when changing the value.

- Changing the thermal zone structure internals is an abuse of the
exported structure, moreover no lock is taken here.

The goal of this patch is to solve the first item by using the 'set'
function called when changing the interval. The check is done there
and removed from the get_temp function. If the thermal zone was not
initialized yet, the interval is not updated in this case as that will
happen in the init function when registering the thermal zone device.

I don't have any hardware to test the changes.

thermal: Rename set_mode() to change_mode()

set_mode() is only called when tzd's mode is about to change. Actual
setting is performed in thermal_core, in thermal_zone_device_set_mode().
The meaning of set_mode() callback is actually to notify the driver about
the mode being changed and giving the driver a chance to oppose such
change.

thermal: Use mode helpers in drivers

Use thermal_zone_device_{en|dis}able() and thermal_zone_device_is_enabled().

Consequently, all set_mode() implementations in drivers:

- can stop modifying tzd's "mode" member,
- shall stop taking tzd's lock, as it is taken in the helpers
- shall stop calling thermal_zone_device_update() as it is called in the
helpers
- can assume they are called when the mode truly changes, so checks to
verify that can be dropped

Not providing set_mode() by a driver no longer prevents the core from
being able to set tzd's mode, so the relevant check in mode_store() is
removed.

Other comments:

- acpi/thermal.c: tz->thermal_zone->mode will be updated only after we
return from set_mode(), so use function parameter in thermal_set_mode()
instead, no need to call acpi_thermal_check() in set_mode()
- thermal/imx_thermal.c: regmap writes and mode assignment are done in
thermal_zone_device_{en|dis}able() and set_mode() callback
- thermal/intel/intel_quark_dts_thermal.c: soc_dts_{en|dis}able() are a
part of set_mode() callback, so they don't need to modify tzd->mode, and
don't need to fall back to the opposite mode if unsuccessful, as the return
value will be propagated to thermal_zone_device_{en|dis}able() and
ultimately tzd's member will not be changed in thermal_zone_device_set_mode().
- thermal/of-thermal.c: no need to set zone->mode to DISABLED in
of_parse_thermal_zones() as a tzd is kzalloc'ed so mode is DISABLED anyway

platform/x86: acerhdf: restructure to allow large BIOS table be __initconst

There is a table of Vendor/Model/Version {control data} in this driver,
but outside of the initial probe, the V/M/V is never used again, and
neither are any of the entries for platforms other than the one which
matches the running target.

By simply storing the {control data} for the matched platform, we can
mark the large table __initconst, which reduces the loaded driver size
by 20 percent.

platform/x86: acerhdf: Add BIOS entry for Gateway LT31 v1.3307

To fix:

acerhdf: unknown (unsupported) BIOS version Gateway /LT31 /v1.3307 , please report, aborting!

As can be seen in the context, the BIOS registers haven't changed in
the previous versions, so the assumption is they won't have changed
in this last update for this somewhat older platform either.

platform/x86: acerhdf: Remove cut-and-paste trap from instructions

Just like we avoid specifying actual block devices like sda for fdisk
and dd examples, we should not specify specific thermal zones here.

On the platform I was testing on, zone0 was acpitz, and zone1 was for
this acerhdf driver. Make the printk such that it won't work with a
blind cut-and-paste, and force the user to determine which zone is
correct for this driver.
