ath10k: do not return invalid pointers as a *dentry

When calling debugfs functions, they can now return error values if
something went wrong. If that happens, return a NULL as a *dentry to
the relay core instead of passing it an illegal pointer.

The relay core should be able to handle an illegal pointer, but add this
check to be safe.

ath10k: fix spectral scan for QCA9984 and QCA9888 chipsets

The spectral scan has been always broken on QCA9984 and QCA9888.

Introduce a hardware parameter 'spectral_bin_offset' to resolve this issue for
QCA9984 and QCA9888 chipsets. For other chipsets, the hardware parameter
'spectral_bin_offset' is zero so that existing behaviour is retained as it is.

In QCA9984 and QCA9888 chipsets, hardware param value 'spectral_bin_discard'
is 12 bytes. This 12 bytes is derived as the sum of segment index (4 bytes),
extra bins before the actual data (4 bytes) and extra bins after the actual
data (4 bytes). Always discarding (12 bytes) happens at end of the samples and
incorrect samples got dumped, so that user can find incorrect arrangement
samples in spectral scan dump.

To fix this issue, we have to discard first 8 bytes and last 4 bytes in every
samples, so totally 12 bytes are discarded. In every sample we need to consider
the offset while taking the actual spectral data. For QCA9984, QCA9888 the
offset is 8 bytes (segment index + extra bins before actual data).

Hardware tested: QCA9984 and QCA9888
Firmware tested: 10.4-3.5.3-00053

ath10k: fix spectral scan for QCA99X0 family of chipsets

spectral_bin length (number of bins per fft sample) is usually
a value where (2^n = value), n is an integer. All of the QCA99X0
family of chipsets seems to report a spectral_bin length of
2^n + 'm' bytes, where m = 4, 12 based on the chipset. This 'm'
bytes seems to carry some radar related info which is currently
discarded only for 'bin_len = 68' bytes. Extend this discarding of
irrelevant 'bin_len' for QCA9984, QCA9888, IPQ4019 as well by
introducing a hardware parameter 'spectral_bin_discard'. Also
for QCA988X based family of chipsets which doesn't seem to have this
issue and also for some of the hardware which I have not tested
like QCA6174/QCA9377 the existing behaviour is retained as it is.

ath10k: add spectral scan support for 10.4 fw

To enable/configure spectral scan parameters in 10.4 firmware, existing
wmi spectral related functions can be reused. Link those functions in
10.4 wmi ops table.

In addition, adjust bin size (only when size is 68 bytes) before reporting
bin samples to user space. The background for this adjustment is that
qca99x0 reports bin size as 68 bytes (64 bytes + 4 bytes) in report
mode 2. First 64 bytes carries in-band tones (-32 to +31) and last 4 byte
carries band edge detection data (+32) mainly used in radar detection
purpose. Additional last 4 bytes are stripped to make bin size valid one.

This bin size adjustment will happen only for qca99x0, all other chipsets
will report proper bin sizes (64/128) without extra 4 bytes being added
at the end. The changes are validated in qca99x0 using 10.4 firmware.

ath10k: refactor phyerr event handlers

Existing phyerr event handlers directly uses phyerr header format
(ie, struct wmi_phyerr and struct wmi_phyerr_event) in the code
exactly on how firmware packs it. This is the problem in 10.4 fw
specific phyerr event handling where it uses different phyerror
header format. Before adding 10.4 specific handler, little bit of
refactor is done in existing phyerr handlers.

Two new abstracted structures (struct wmi_phyerr_ev_hdr_arg and
struct wmi_phyerr_ev_arg) are introduced to remove dependency of using
firmware specific header format in the code. So that firmware specific
phyerror handlers can populate values to abstracted structures and
the following code can use abstracted struct for further operation.

.pull_phyerr_hdr is added newly to pull common phyerr header info
like tsf, buf_len, number of phyerr packed. Existing .pull_phyerr
handler is changed and called to parse every sub phyerrs in the event.

Validated these refactoring on qca988x hw2.0 using fw 10.2.4 version.

ath10k: increase relay buffer size of spectral scan

Spectral scan supported by ath10k has capability to monitor and report
through whole bands and channels, but current buffer size is too small
to save reported spectral scan data.
This results in dropping 5G channel reports at all when dual band card
is used, so that users are not able to analyze spectral environments.
Hence increase the buffer size to fix the problem.

A spectral data size is vary based on the number of bins, so the unit
buffer size, 1140, is chose to minimize relay buffer fragmentation.

The total buffer size is also chose in tradeoff with spectral scan
support vs. kernel memory consumption.
Since theoretical maximum buffer size, 9.5MB, can be consumed with
512 bins in dual bands, we target to cover up to 128 bins for all
channels in dual bands and due to the buffer size limitation,
spectral scan with bin number bigger than 128 needs to be run on
single band each.

ath10k: introduce wmi ops

Since the 10.x fw branch support was introduced it
became apparent ath10k will need to be able to
deal with different fw ABIs eventually.

The patch creates an abstraction for dealing with
command and event structures across different ABIs
and mostly gets rid of the
ATH10K_FW_FEATURE_WMI_10X flag usage.

ath10k: add spectral scan feature

Adds the spectral scan feature for ath10k. The spectral scan is triggered by
configuring a mode through a debugfs control file. Samples can be gathered via
another relay debugfs file.

Essentially, to try it out:

ip link set dev wlan0 up
echo background > /sys/kernel/debug/ieee80211/phy0/ath10k/spectral_scan_ctl
echo trigger > /sys/kernel/debug/ieee80211/phy0/ath10k/spectral_scan_ctl
iw dev wlan0 scan
echo disable > /sys/kernel/debug/ieee80211/phy0/ath10k/spectral_scan_ctl
cat /sys/kernel/debug/ieee80211/phy0/ath10k/spectral_scan0 > samples

This feature is still experimental. Based on the original RFC patch of
Sven Eckelmann.
