mlx4: Register mlx4 devices to an auxiliary virtual bus

Add an auxiliary virtual bus to model the mlx4 driver structure. The
code is added along the current custom device management logic.
Subsequent patches switch mlx4_en and mlx4_ib to the auxiliary bus and
the old interface is then removed.

Structure mlx4_priv gains a new adev dynamic array to keep track of its
auxiliary devices. Access to the array is protected by the global
mlx4_intf mutex.

Functions mlx4_register_device() and mlx4_unregister_device() are
updated to expose auxiliary devices on the bus in order to load mlx4_en
and/or mlx4_ib. Functions mlx4_register_auxiliary_driver() and
mlx4_unregister_auxiliary_driver() are added to substitute
mlx4_register_interface() and mlx4_unregister_interface(), respectively.
Function mlx4_do_bond() is adjusted to walk over the adev array and
re-adds a specific auxiliary device if its driver sets the
MLX4_INTFF_BONDING flag.

ethernet: fix PTP_1588_CLOCK dependencies

The 'imply' keyword does not do what most people think it does, it only
politely asks Kconfig to turn on another symbol, but does not prevent
it from being disabled manually or built as a loadable module when the
user is built-in. In the ICE driver, the latter now causes a link failure:

aarch64-linux-ld: drivers/net/ethernet/intel/ice/ice_main.o: in function `ice_eth_ioctl':
ice_main.c:(.text+0x13b0): undefined reference to `ice_ptp_get_ts_config'

ice_main.c:(.text+0x13bc): relocation truncated to fit: R_AARCH64_CALL26 against undefined symbol `ice_ptp_set_ts_config'

aarch64-linux-ld: drivers/net/ethernet/intel/ice/ice_main.o: in function `ice_rebuild':

This is a recurring problem in many drivers, and we have discussed
it several times befores, without reaching a consensus. I'm providing
a link to the previous email thread for reference, which discusses
some related problems.

To solve the dependency issue better than the 'imply' keyword, introduce a
separate Kconfig symbol "CONFIG_PTP_1588_CLOCK_OPTIONAL" that any driver
can depend on if it is able to use PTP support when available, but works
fine without it. Whenever CONFIG_PTP_1588_CLOCK=m, those drivers are
then prevented from being built-in, the same way as with a 'depends on
PTP_1588_CLOCK || !PTP_1588_CLOCK' dependency that does the same trick,
but that can be rather confusing when you first see it.

Since this should cover the dependencies correctly, the IS_REACHABLE()
hack in the header is no longer needed now, and can be turned back
into a normal IS_ENABLED() check. Any driver that gets the dependency
wrong will now cause a link time failure rather than being unable to use
PTP support when that is in a loadable module.

However, the two recently added ptp_get_vclocks_index() and
ptp_convert_timestamp() interfaces are only called from builtin code with
ethtool and socket timestamps, so keep the current behavior by stubbing
those out completely when PTP is in a loadable module. This should be
addressed properly in a follow-up.

As Richard suggested, we may want to actually turn PTP support into a
'bool' option later on, preventing it from being a loadable module
altogether, which would be one way to solve the problem with the ethtool
interface.

treewide: replace '---help---' in Kconfig files with 'help'

Since commit 84af7a6194e4 ("checkpatch: kconfig: prefer 'help' over
'---help---'"), the number of '---help---' has been gradually
decreasing, but there are still more than 2400 instances.

This commit finishes the conversion. While I touched the lines,
I also fixed the indentation.

There are a variety of indentation styles found.

a) 4 spaces + '---help---'
b) 7 spaces + '---help---'
c) 8 spaces + '---help---'
d) 1 space + 1 tab + '---help---'
e) 1 tab + '---help---' (correct indentation)
f) 1 tab + 1 space + '---help---'
g) 1 tab + 2 spaces + '---help---'

In order to convert all of them to 1 tab + 'help', I ran the
following commend:

$ find . -name 'Kconfig*' | xargs sed -i 's/^[[:space:]]*---help---/\thelp/'

Some drivers are becoming more dependent on NET_DEVLINK being selected

First all drivers had to add a meta dependency to make sure
they are not built in when devlink is built as a module. Now
we are struggling to invoke ethtool compat code reliably.

ptp_clock: Allow for it to be optional

In order to break the hard dependency between the PTP clock subsystem and
ethernet drivers capable of being clock providers, this patch provides
simple PTP stub functions to allow linkage of those drivers into the
kernel even when the PTP subsystem is configured out. Drivers must be
ready to accept NULL from ptp_clock_register() in that case.

And to make it possible for PTP to be configured out, the select statement
in those driver's Kconfig menu entries is converted to the new "imply"
statement. This way the PTP subsystem may have Kconfig dependencies of
its own, such as POSIX_TIMERS, without having to make those ethernet
drivers unavailable if POSIX timers are cconfigured out. And when support
for POSIX timers is selected again then the default config option for PTP
clock support will automatically be adjusted accordingly.

The pch_gbe driver is a bit special as it relies on extra code in
drivers/ptp/ptp_pch.c. Therefore we let the make process descend into
drivers/ptp/ even if PTP_1588_CLOCK is unselected.

mlx4_en: Replace ndo_add/del_vxlan_port with ndo_add/del_udp_enc_port

This change replaces the network device operations for adding or removing a
VXLAN port with operations that are more generically defined to be used for
any UDP offload port but provide a type. As such by just adding a line to
verify that the offload type is VXLAN we can maintain the same
functionality.

In addition I updated the socket address family check so that instead of
excluding IPv6 we instead abort of type is not IPv4. This makes much more
sense as we should only be supporting IPv4 outer addresses on this
hardware.

net: mellanox: add DEVLINK dependencies

The new NET_DEVLINK infrastructure can be a loadable module, but the drivers
using it might be built-in, which causes link errors like:

drivers/net/built-in.o: In function `mlx4_load_one':
:(.text+0x2fbfda): undefined reference to `devlink_port_register'
:(.text+0x2fc084): undefined reference to `devlink_port_unregister'
drivers/net/built-in.o: In function `mlxsw_sx_port_remove':
:(.text+0x33a03a): undefined reference to `devlink_port_type_clear'
:(.text+0x33a04e): undefined reference to `devlink_port_unregister'

There are multiple ways to avoid this:

a) add 'depends on NET_DEVLINK || !NET_DEVLINK' dependencies
for each user
b) use 'select NET_DEVLINK' from each driver that uses it
and hide the symbol in Kconfig.
c) make NET_DEVLINK a 'bool' option so we don't have to
list it as a dependency, and rely on the APIs to be
stubbed out when it is disabled
d) use IS_REACHABLE() rather than IS_ENABLED() to check for
NET_DEVLINK in include/net/devlink.h

This implements a variation of approach a) by adding an
intermediate symbol that drivers can depend on, and changes
the three drivers using it.

treewide: replace '---help---' in Kconfig files with 'help'

$ find . -name 'Kconfig*' | xargs sed -i 's/^[[:space:]]*---help---/\thelp/'

Being able to build devlink as a module causes growing pains.
First all drivers had to add a meta dependency to make sure

net/mlx4: Use Kconfig flag to remove support of old gen2 Mellanox devices

Since Mellanox focus is on newer adapters, we would like to have the
ability to disable the support for old gen2 adapters.

This can be done by turning off the MLX4_CORE_GEN2 Kconfig flag.
We keep it turned on by default.

ptp_clock: Allow for it to be optional

This makes much more
sense as we should only be supporting IPv4 outer addresses on this
hardware.
