xgbe: no need to check return value of debugfs_create functions
When calling debugfs functions, there is no need to ever check the return value. The function can work or not, but the code logic should never do something different based on this.
This cleans up a lot of unneeded code and logic around the debugfs files, making all of this much simpler and easier to understand.

amd-xgbe: Improve KR auto-negotiation and training
Update xgbe-phy-v2.c to make use of the auto-negotiation (AN) phy hooks to improve the ability to successfully complete Clause 73 AN when running at 10gbps. Hardware can sometimes have issues with CDR lock when the AN DME page exchange is being performed.
The AN and KR training hooks are used as follows: - The pre AN hook is used to disable CDR tracking in the PHY so that the DME page exchange can be successfully and consistently completed. - The post KR training hook is used to re-enable the CDR tracking so that KR training can successfully complete. - The post AN hook is used to check for an unsuccessful AN which will increase a CDR tracking enablement delay (up to a maximum value).
Add two debugfs entries to allow control over use of the CDR tracking workaround. The debugfs entries allow the CDR tracking workaround to be disabled and determine whether to re-enable CDR tracking before or after link training has been initiated.
Also, with these changes the receiver reset cycle that is performed during the link status check can be performed less often.

amd-xgbe: Add support to handle device renaming
Many of the names used by the driver are based upon the name of the device found during device probe. Move the formatting of the names into the device open function so that any renaming that occurs before the device is brought up will be accounted for. This also means moving the creation of some named workqueues into the device open path.
Add support to register for net events so that if a device is renamed the corresponding debugfs directory can be renamed.

amd-xgbe: Fix possible uninitialized variable
The debugfs support in the driver uses a common routine to write the debugfs values. In this routine, if the input file position is non-zero then the write routine will not return an error and an output parameter will not have been set. Because an error isn't returned an uninitialized value will be written into a register.
Fix the common write routine to return an error if the input file position is non-zero, which will propagate back to the caller.

amd-xgbe: Fix debugfs compatibility change with kstrtouint
The initial change from sscanf to kstrtouint broke backward compatbility by using a base of "0" in the kstrtouint call. This allowed for entering decimal, hexadecimal or octal as input where previously the sscanf always interpreted the input as hexadecimal. Additionally, -EIO was returned on error prior to this change and now it is whatever the error value that is returned by kstrtouint.
Change the base value of the kstrtouint from 0 to 16 and return -EIO on error.

xgbe: no need to check return value of debugfs_create functions When calling debugfs functions, there is no need to ever check the return value. The function can work or not, but the code logic should never do something different based on this. This cleans up a lot of unneeded code and logic around the debugfs files, making all of this much simpler and easier to understand. Cc: Tom Lendacky <thomas.lendacky@amd.com> Cc: "David S. amd-xgbe: Improve KR auto-negotiation and training Update xgbe-phy-v2.c to make use of the auto-negotiation (AN) phy hooks to improve the ability to successfully complete Clause 73 AN when running at 10gbps. Also, with these changes the receiver reset cycle that is performed during the link status check can be performed less often. amd-xgbe: Add support to handle device renaming Many of the names used by the driver are based upon the name of the device found during device probe. Move the formatting of the names into the device open function so that any renaming that occurs before the device is brought up will be accounted for. This also means moving the creation of some named workqueues into the device open path. Add support to register for net events so that if a device is renamed the corresponding debugfs directory can be renamed. Signed-off-by: Tom Lendacky <thomas.lendacky@amd.com> Signed-off-by: David S. amd-xgbe: Fix possible uninitialized variable The debugfs support in the driver uses a common routine to write the debugfs values. In this routine, if the input file position is non-zero then the write routine will not return an error and an output parameter will not have been set. Because an error isn't returned an uninitialized value will be written into a register. Fix the common write routine to return an error if the input file position is non-zero, which will propagate back to the caller.
