Input: add a new Novatek NVT-ts driver

Add a new driver for the Novatek i2c touchscreen controller as found
on the Acer Iconia One 7 B1-750 tablet. Unfortunately the touchscreen
controller model-number is unknown. Even with the tablet opened up it
is impossible to read the model-number.

Android calls this a "NVT-ts" touchscreen, but that may apply to other
Novatek controller models too.

This appears to be the same controller as the one supported by
https://github.com/advx9600/android/blob/master/touchscreen/NVTtouch_Android4.0/NVTtouch.c
but unfortunately that does not give us a model-number either.

mfd: remove ucb1400 support

The ucb1400 MFD driver and its gpio and touchscreen child
drivers were only used on a few PXA machines that were unused

Removing these leaves the AC97 support as ALSA specific,
no other drivers are now connected through this interface.

Input: add driver for Himax hx83112b touchscreen devices

This patch adds support for Himax hx83112b touchscreen devices. As there
are no publicly available data sheets for these devices, the
implementation is based on the driver of the downstream Android kernel
used in the Fairphone 3. This patch is a complete rewrite, though, and
the code bears no resemblence to the original implementation.

Input: add driver for Hynitron cstxxx touchscreens

Add support for the Hynitron cst3xx controller found on devices such
as the Anbernic RG353P and RG353V (the Hynitron CST340). This driver
was built from sources provided by Hynitron to Anbernic (possibly
via Rockchip as an intermediary) and marked as GPLv2 in the code.
This driver was written strictly for the cst3xx series, but in
most places was left somewhat generic so support could be easily
added to other devices in the future.

Input: goodix - add support for controllers without flash

Some Goodix touchscreen controllers, such as for example the GT912,
don't have flash-storage for their firmware.

These models require the OS to load the firmware at runtime, as well as
some other special handling. Add support for this to the goodix driver.

This patch was developed and tested on a Glavey TM800A550L tablet.

Note the "goodix,main-clk" and "firmware-name" device-properties used
by the new code are *not* documented in the
Documentation/devicetree/bindings/input/touchscreen/goodix.yaml
device-tree bindings for now.

Not documenting these is intentional. This is done because this code has
only been tested on x86/ACPI so far, where devicetree is not used.
Instead these properties are set through a software-fwnode attached to the
device by the drivers/platform/x86/touchscreen_dmi.c code. This means that
the use of this properties for now is purely a kernel-internal thing and
the name/working of the properties may still be changed for now.

Input: touchscreen - move helper functions to core

Some devices outside of drivers/input/touchscreen/ can still make
use of the touchscreen helper functions. Therefore, it was agreed
in [1] to move them outside of drivers/input/touchscreen/ so that
other devices can call them without INPUT_TOUCHSCREEN being set.

As part of this change, 'of' is dropped from the filename because
the helpers no longer actually use OF. No changes are made to the
file contents whatsoever.

Based on the feedback in [2], the corresponding binding documents

Input: add zinitix touchscreen driver

Add support for the bt541 touchscreen IC from zinitix, loosely based on

The bt541 seems to support touch keys, but the support was not added because

Input: add driver for the Cypress CY8CTMA140 touchscreen

This adds a new driver for the Cypress CY8CTMA140 touchscreen.

This driver is inspired by out-of-tree code for the Samsung
GT-S7710 mobile phone.

I have tried to compare the structure and behaviour of this
touchscreen to the existing CYTTSP and CYTTSP4 generics and
it seems pretty different. It is also different in character
from the cy8ctmg110_ts.c. It appears to rather be vaguely
related to the Melfas MMS114 driver, yet distinctly
different.

Dmitry Torokhov rewrote the key scanning code during the
submission process so the driver is a joint work.

input: touchscreen: resistive-adc-touch: add generic resistive ADC touchscreen

This adds a generic resistive touchscreen (GRTS) driver, which is based
on an IIO device (an ADC). It must be connected to the channels of an ADC
to receive touch data. Then it will feed the data into the input subsystem
where it registers an input device.
It uses an IIO callback buffer to register to the IIO device

Input: add support for ChipOne icn8505 based touchscreens

The ChipOne icn8505 is an i2c capacitive touchscreen controller typically
used in cheap x86 tablets, this commit adds a driver for it.

Note the icn8505 is somewhat similar to the icn8318 and I started with
modifying that driver to support both, but in the end the differences were
too large and I decided to write a new driver instead.

Input: remove atmel-wm97xx touchscreen driver

Since AVR32 arch is gone, atmel-wm97xx driver is useless. In theory it
could have been rewritten to work with AT91 devices, but the driver is from
the platform data era, and a bit hard coded to work on AVR32 hardware
variant of the AC97C peripheral, so let's remove it.

Input: add support for the Samsung S6SY761 touchscreen

The S6SY761 touchscreen is a capicitive multi-touch controller
for mobile use. It's connected with i2c at the address 0x48.

This commit provides a basic version of the driver which can
handle only initialization, touch events and power states.

The controller is controlled by a firmware which, in the version
I currently have, doesn't provide all the possible
functionalities mentioned in the datasheet.

Input: add support for HiDeep touchscreen

The HiDeep touchscreen device is a capacitive multi-touch controller
mainly for multi-touch supported devices use. It use I2C interface for
communication to IC and provide axis X, Y, Z locations for ten finger
touch through input event interface to userspace.

It support the Crimson and the Lime two type IC. They are different
the number of channel supported and FW size. But the working protocol
is same.
