Input: remove dev_err() usage after platform_get_irq()
We don't need dev_err() messages when platform_get_irq() fails now that platform_get_irq() prints an error message itself when something goes wrong. Let's remove these prints with a simple semantic patch.
// <smpl> @@ expression ret; struct platform_device *E; @@
ret = ( platform_get_irq(E, ...) | platform_get_irq_byname(E, ...) );
if ( \( ret < 0 \| ret <= 0 \) ) { ( -if (ret != -EPROBE_DEFER) -{ ... -dev_err(...); -... } | ... -dev_err(...); ) ... } // </smpl>
While we're here, remove braces on if statements that only have one statement (manually).

The power button found in tps65217 device is very similar to the tps65218, so let's enhance the driver to support both variants.
This driver enables us to use tps65217's power button as KEY_POWER on am335x boards (directly connected button in chiliboard, accessible pin via expansion header in beaglebone). This patch has been tested with chiliboard.

Input: remove dev_err() usage after platform_get_irq() We don't need dev_err() messages when platform_get_irq() fails now that platform_get_irq() prints an error message itself when something goes wrong. Let's remove these prints with a simple semantic patch. // <smpl> @@ expression ret; struct platform_device *E; @@ ret = ( platform_get_irq(E, ...) | platform_get_irq_byname(E, ...) ); if ( \( ret < 0 \| ret <= 0 \) ) { ( -if (ret != -EPROBE_DEFER) -{ ... -dev_err(...); -... } | ... -dev_err(...); ) ... } // </smpl> While we're here, remove braces on if statements that only have one statement (manually). Input: tps65218-pwrbutton - add support for tps65217 variant The power button found in tps65217 device is very similar to the tps65218, so let's enhance the driver to support both variants. This driver enables us to use tps65217's power button as KEY_POWER on am335x boards (directly connected button in chiliboard, accessible pin via expansion header in beaglebone). This patch has been tested with chiliboard. Signed-off-by: Marcin Niestroj <m.niestroj@grinn-global.com> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com>
