Following the failure observed with a delay of 250us, experiments were
conducted wi

Following the failure observed with a delay of 250us, experiments were
conducted with various delays. It was found that a delay of 350us
effectively mitigated the issue.
To provide a more optimal solution while still allowing a margin for
stability, the delay is being adjusted to 500us.

Following the failure observed with a delay of 250us, experiments were
conducted with various delays. It was found that a delay of 350us
effectively mitigated the issue.
To provide a more optimal solution while still allowing a margin for
stability, the delay is being adjusted to 500us.

The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate
of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus.
As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they
"temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h
and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include
files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and
replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to
explicitly include the correct includes.

in ucd9000.c. This is because the debugfs_create_dir() does not
return NULL but an ERR_PTR after an error.
The DebugFS kernel API is developed in a way that the
caller can safely ignore the errors that occur during
the creation of DebugFS nodes.The debugfs Api handles
it gracefully. The check is unnecessary.

When probing the ucd90320 access to some of the registers randomly fails.
Sometimes it NACKs a transfer, sometimes it returns just random dat

When probing the ucd90320 access to some of the registers randomly fails.
Sometimes it NACKs a transfer, sometimes it returns just random data and
the PEC check fails.
Experimentation shows that this seems to be triggered by a register access
directly back to back with a previous register write. Experimentation also
shows that inserting a small delay after register writes makes the issue go
away.
Use a similar solution to what the max15301 driver does to solve the same
problem. Create a custom set of bus read and write functions that make sure
that the delay is added.

The only action currently performed in pmbus_do_remove() is removing the
debugfs hierarchy. We can schedule a devm action at probe time and re
