1 How to use U-Boot on Solid-run mx6 Hummingboard and Cubox-i 2 ----------------------------------------------------------- 3 4 - Build U-Boot for Hummingboard/Cubox-i: 5 6 $ make mrproper 7 $ make mx6cuboxi_defconfig 8 $ make 9 10 This will generate the SPL image called SPL and the u-boot.img. 11 12 - Flash the SPL image into the SD card: 13 14 sudo dd if=SPL of=/dev/mmcblk0 bs=1k seek=1; sync 15 16 - Flash the u-boot.img image into the SD card: 17 18 sudo dd if=u-boot.img of=/dev/mmcblk0 bs=1k seek=69; sync 19 20 - Insert the SD card in the board, power it up and U-Boot messages should 21 come up. 22
