1How to use U-Boot on Grinn's chiliBoard 2-------------------------------------- 3 4- Build U-Boot for chiliBoard: 5 6$ make mrproper 7$ make chiliboard_defconfig 8$ make 9 10This will generate the SPL image called MLO and the u-boot.img. 11 12- Flash the SPL image into the micro SD card: 13 14sudo dd if=MLO of=/dev/mmcblk0 bs=128k; sync 15 16- Flash the u-boot.img image into the micro SD card: 17 18sudo dd if=u-boot.img of=/dev/mmcblk0 bs=128k seek=3; sync 19 20- Jumper settings: 21 22S2: 1 1 1 0 1 0 23 24where 0 means bottom position and 1 means top position (from the 25switch label numbers reference). 26 27- Insert the micro SD card in the board. 28 29- Connect USB cable between chiliBoard and the PC for the power and console. 30 31- U-Boot messages should come up. 32
