H A D | 092.out | d66e5cee Thu May 08 06:35:09 CDT 2014 Kevin Wolf <kwolf@redhat.com> qcow1: Stricter backing file length check Like qcow2 since commit 6d33e8e7, error out on invalid lengths instead of silently truncating them to 1023. Also don't rely on bdrv_pread() catching integer overflows that make len negative, but use unsigned variables in the first place. H A D | 080.out | 6d33e8e7 Wed Mar 26 07:05:47 CDT 2014 Kevin Wolf <kwolf@redhat.com> qcow2: Fix backing file name length check len could become negative and would pass the check then. Nothing bad happened because bdrv_pread() happens to return an error for negative length values, but make variables for sizes unsigned anyway. This patch also changes the behaviour to error out on invalid lengths instead of silently truncating it to 1023.
