gitmodules: switch to qemu.org qboot mirror

QEMU now hosts a mirror of qboot.git. QEMU mirrors third-party code to
ensure that users can always build QEMU even if the dependency goes
offline and so QEMU meets its responsibilities to provide full source
code under software licenses.

ppc patch queue 2020-02093

This pull request supersedes ppc-for-5.0-20200131. The only changes
are one extra patch to suppress some irritating warnings during tests
under TCG, and an extra Tested-by in one of the other patches.

Here's the next batch of patches for ppc and associated machine types.
Highlights includes:
* Remove the deprecated "prep" machine type and its OpenHackware
firmware
* Add TCG emulation of the msgsndp etc. supervisor privileged
doorbell instructions
* Allow "pnv" machine type to run Hostboot style firmwares
* Add a virtual TPM device for spapr machines
* Implement devices for POWER8 PHB3 and POWER9 PHB4 host bridges for
the pnv machine type
* Use faster Spectre mitigation by default for POWER9 DD2.3 machines
* Introduce Firmware Assisted NMI dump facility for spapr machines
* Fix a performance regression with load/store multiple instructions
in TCG

as well as some other assorted cleanups and fixes.

roms: add microvm-bios (qboot) as binary and git submodule

qboot is a minimalist x86 firmware for booting Linux kernels. It does
the mininum amount of work required for the task, and it's able to

This characteristics make it an ideal companion for the microvm

RISC-V Patches for 4.2-rc2

This contains a pair of patches that add OpenSBI support to QEMU on
RISC-V targets. The patches have been floating around for a bit, but
everything seems solid now. These pass my standard test of booting
OpenEmbedded, and also works when I swap around the various command-line
arguments to use the new boot method.

roms: Add OpenSBI version 0.4

Add OpenSBI version 0.4 as a git submodule and as a prebult binary.

OpenSBI (https://github.com/riscv/opensbi) aims to provide an open-source
reference implementation of the RISC-V Supervisor Binary Interface (SBI)
specifications for platform-specific firmwares executing in M-mode. For all
supported platforms, OpenSBI provides several runtime firmware examples.
These example firmwares can be used to replace the legacy riscv-pk bootloader
and enable the use of well-known bootloaders such as U-Boot.

OpenSBI is distributed under the terms of the BSD 2-clause license
("Simplified BSD License" or "FreeBSD License", SPDX: BSD-2-Clause). OpenSBI
source code also contains code reused from other projects desribed here:
https://github.com/riscv/opensbi/blob/master/ThirdPartyNotices.md.

In this case all of the code we are using from OpenSBI is BSD 2-clause
as we aren't using the Kendryte code (Apache-2.0) with QEMU and libfdt
is dual licensed as BSD 2-clause (and GPL-2.0+). OpenSBI isn't being
linked with QEMU either it is just being included with QEMU.

- build UEFI test applications (to be run in guests), for qtest support.

Edk2 commit 85588389222a3636baf0f9ed8227f2434af4c3f9 stands for the latest
"stable tag", namely "edk2-stable201811".

The edk2 repository tracks some binary files that should not be removed by
QEMU's top-level "make clean"; exempt the full pathnames from the "find"
command.

gitmodules: use 'https://' instead of 'git://'

When you clone the repository without previous commit history, 'git://'
doesn't protect from man-in-the-middle attacks. HTTPS is more secure
since the client verifies the server certificate.

Also change git.qemu-project.org to git.qemu.org (we control both domain
names but qemu.org is used more widely).

vgabios: remove submodule and build rules.

It's the old, lgpl vgabios implementation.

Was left in as fallback when we switched to seavgabios, so we could
easily switch back in case we see regressions. It's unused since years
now, reportedly doesn't even build, and lacks support for recently (and
not so recently) added display devices.

Zap it.

ppc patch queue 2018-04-10

Here's a rather late pull request with a handful of fixes for 2.12.
These have been blocked for some time, because I wasn't able to
complete my usual test set due to the SCSI problem fixed in 37c5174
"scsi-disk: Don't enlarge min_io_size to max_io_size".

Since we're in hard freeze, these are all bugfixes. Most are also
regressions, although in one case it's only a "regression" because a
longstanding bug has been exposed by a new machine type (sam460ex) in
the testcases. There are also a couple of sam460ex fixes that aren't
regressions since the board didn't exist before. On the flipside
though, they're low risk because they only touch board specific code
for a board that doesn't exist in any released version.
